Prostate Cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men, especially in west countries. Thanks to the discovery of Prostate Specific Antigen, which serves as a mark of prostate cancer, the disease could be found in an early-stage. prostatectomy or radiation, the most common treatments for localized disease, have a high rate of cure. Treatment for advanced disease includes hormonal treatment (also known as androgen deprivation therapy) and chemotherapy. A number of new, promising agents are currently in development.
